I See You 2019

What do I want my 2019 to be? What do I want it to look like?

I hope it’s happy, magickal, pretty, fun, healthy, adventurous and much more. I hope it is the following:

I want 2019 to be organized.
Being organized and keeping our home organized makes us happier, less frustrated and less anxious.

I want to save more and spend less.
Less spending on STUFF means less stuff in our home we have to spend time on cleaning up + it means more money for things like vacations, emergencies, adventures, gifts for others and fun experiences.

I want to be more patient.
With my kids, my family, my pets, strangers. With everyone including myself.

I want to fill 2019 up with lots more art. I used to spend so much of my free time on art, but since having children it has not been a priority for me. I want to make art, try new things and do more arts and crafts with my kids.

I want to continue to make our home our sanctuary. Our happy place. I want to get rid of the things that don’t work for us (without guilt) + only purchase things that make us happy and are useful.

I want to put my phone down more. I want to do more things that make me forget it. I want to do less “live” social media-ing, meaning less stories/posting while I’m doing things and more latergramming.

I want to start making more of the products we use. Right now I make our hand soap, multipurpose cleaner and wood polish. I’d like to do more. Laundry soap, bar soap, skin care, bubble bath, etc.

I want to continue to make changes in my life to be more sustainable and earth friendly. Earth friendly products, clothing, cleaning, and just be more appreciative of our little planet in general.

I want to learn to garden better. Not only flowers but also hopefully vegetables and herbs.

I want to continue to do my best to embrace each season and celebrate it for all it is. Eat seasonal food, work on seasonal bucketlists and stay in the present instead of wishing things away.

This is always on my list for the New Year and I always jump ship uninentionally. I hope to read more books in 2019 than I did in 2018. The good thing about less smartphone time, it means more time for reading books.

I want to continue to grow my candle business, as well as work on my other business ideas. I also want to continue supporting local and small businesses as much as I can!

Here’s to 2019.
